Server freeze for 15 minutes after "One of the System Attendant's task is blocked." - Event ID: 1031 DSVPWM14C server has been freeze due to the below events. Event Type: Error Event Source: MSExchangeSA Event Category: General Event ID: 1031 Date: 2/3/2009 Time: 7:49:15 AM User: N/A Computer: DSVPWM14 Description: One of the System Attendant's task is blocked. Function: CPollDomainExchangeServersGroup::Work Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) may stop responding while the Microsoft Exchange System Attendant service (Mad.exe) is tracking messages. When this problem occurs, Exchange System Attendant queues up the message-tracking entries and may eventually stop delivering e-mail. Event Type: Information Event Source: MSExchangeSA Event Category: General Event ID: 1032 Date: 2/3/2009 Time: 8:01:09 AM User: N/A Computer: DSVPWM14 Description: One of the System Attendant's task has recovered from a long delay. Function: CPollDomainExchangeServersGroup::Work System Attendant's task has been blocked in the server at 7:49:15 AM then it has recovered from a long delay at 8:01:09 AM.My question: This error will make the server to freeze? Reason: I see these in logs, after that server freeze for 15 mins then it has come back. If so, make sure that proper executions are set. This may occur because of that also... You can also disable antivirus or any third party security or scanning software on the server temporary to see if it is being created by it.
